Okay, I heard that you can create volume with a round brush while blow drying your hair, I also heard you can use a curling iron. How do you do both and which is quicker?(I mean step by step instructions if possible, I`m not very talented as far as hair goes)

I have very fine, thin hair and I find that I need both round brush blowdry and curling iron to do anything at all with my hair. Plus a lot of styling product.
