So attached are some ideas. After discussing with others, thanks Frenchie, we were trying to come up with something to hold the weft when putting on the glue. I came up with the following, simply 2 shishkabob sticks either use a rubberband on the non pointy side or hot glue (make sure to push the ends together if using glue (rubberband would be easier). I no longer use the small clips to hold the hair up if you weave it back & forth on the sticks it holds it above the weft so you can apply LG to both sides. I would simply hold the end of the sticks & add glue, since this experiment, I found these suction clips with little hooks that I put on my mirror & sit the shishkabob stick on it with the hair & glue letting it sit for a moment to make the glue easier to deal with.
Idea is, don't worry about getting the hair exactly between the chopsticks, weaving it makes it easier for it to sit upright. then just slip off the end after applying LG. I bought the clips from Sally's Beauty. Use the comb to pull down a layer of hair over the weft & use the following clips to sandwich it together. keeps it from sticking to other pieces of your hair & really sandwiches it.
These are simply hair clips to section with hot glued pieces of "good chefs" flexible plastic cutting boards (thick pieces of plastic) hot glued to them. I find putting the rougher side on the inside to touch the hair keeps the plastic from sticking to your hair. The smaller clips smush better. These are about 3 inches, so I would use one on each side of my LG weft.
It really smushes it to make it hold better, plus makes a nice clean bond. I make the plastic a bit higher than the clip to make sure I have a high bond.
I got lost and couldn't find it. I didn't think I actually posted it. Does anyone know how to delete one?
I found it using the search function.. You know... search for posts under your name perhaps.. That's is how I found the other post... You might contact the admin about deleting the duplicate post..
