The Fade brush is o.k., but it is short, I would recommend a nine inch-seven row medium brush like Diane's no. 2119.
Use a medium or hard brush when you are starting the wave training process. Softies are usually used to help with connection after the initial wave pattern has been established.

the fade is my main brush *feels offended* lol but i'mma have to cop a Diane or an Annie. there just aren't any to be found in this small college town (Tallahassee, FL).
the fade brush is the brush that got me waves n i still have it wears off to fast tho.the bristles r leanin to the side.it looks like a bunch of skinny n****s leanin back.lol

remember hard brushes get ya waves faster but they will come in crooked. its ok to use it but just touch it up with that softy for a few minutes. (though i'd just recommend a medium brush instead of a hard one)
