Hi Ladies,

I read somewhere that conditioning synthetic hair (elite thermo, wawa etc) with a diluted solution of Downy fabric softener works really well. Have any you tried it?

Thanks!

I'm not being a dork and replying to my own post. I was just doing some research and there are tons of people out there using Downy on dolls hair as a conditioner. There are even a couple of people using it on their own hair! LOL Apparently it leaves dolls hair and human hair incredibly soft. Wonders never cease.

So, I'm going to go and get some and try it on my elite thermo. I'll post my results.

yes it does work well on synthetic, although for me I thought it weighed down the synth. thermal when I tried it a few times but its possible I didnt have it diluted enough.

Different mixes seem to do better for different synth hairs. I'd say start with a really watered down mix and think add more Downy when you feel nessecary. And thanks for reminding me to pick some up!

I tried it on Plastikhaar and it didn't really make any difference for me.
