QuoteReplyTopic: Eliminating own hair sticking out? Posted: June 22 2007 at 11:13am
Hello Ladies,
So my own hair is about shoulder length and when I install my extensions (weft using tape & glue) I have these ANNOYING little bits of my own hair that stick out at the bottom near my neck. The bits on the top are fine, because I layer my extensions so they blend as shorter layers. However, I hate the bits at the back. I can blend them fine so that they don't stick out a lot, but they are there and I KNOW they are there.
How can I eliminate these? Is there anyway I can braid them back or something? If anyone has a demo I can look at that would be super helpful.
Thanks!

You can try braiding them in some how, but really there is no way to truly eliminate them. You could also try flat ironing the lower wefts and your hair, that sually is a good method of blending.

yes, that's what I do and they do blend fine, I'm just a COMPLETE PERFECTIONIST and I'd like them gone completely. I'm thinking about shrinkies on the bottom....hmmmmm......

i've done micros on my bottom layers (easier to get in a pony for me) it does help a bit, but there are still some bits that are left out below where they start, those will pretty much always have to be left out unless you never plan on wearing your hair up or pulled back.
