man i use to use baby oil but my hair waz shinging but my waves were not really visible cause of dryness!!!!

My sister used to use baby oil, but it started makin her hair red brownish esp when she was outside in the sun a lot. So she stopped usin it way bak.

Over-washing your hair strips it of natural oils, not just water.  Also, all moisturizers are temporary, water just evaporates faster.

Meji, I'm definitely changing up my flow a little.  It's just very difficult to put any products in your hair in the summer and not sweat.  And we all know that sweat and products equals a mess.

This somewhat contradicts a lot of the stuff wave connec has sad about keepin ya scalp moisturized and ish. But do you...I was on that no product ish at one point but yeah, I don't really use but one products and I'm easy on it anyway. Keep us updated...Besides I know my hair, it'll get way too dry and way too curly and my hair is probably half way trained.

I'm using water, H2O method, when my hair gets dry.

I like the no product look as well, but for blacks w/ our texture dont we need products? othawise wit all the brushin it wld cause our hair to break and become brittle, (right?)   Confused

My waves are trained to the point that they are still visible with no products.  It's just a better look if you can manage it.

yo, maybe it wont work with ya hair, but if you use the h2o method then durag it while its still wet, when you take it off, yah hair should be really secure and in place
 
maybe cause im in the ghetto, theres stuff in my water, but it works like a super light hair spray

I've been doing this for over  6 months. I gave up on products because I just sweat them out at football.
