I have a question about mixing weft lengths.

I have a pkg of 18" extensions but I want a little more length so I was going to purchase a pkg of 22". I don't want to have to spend so much on two packages of hair so I can have a full head. Would it be alright if I only bought one pack of the 22" and used that on the bottom rows and then added the 18" on the top rows? I was thinking it might work alright if I was to get a haircut so that they could layer it better but I wanted to ask and make sure that it was alright before I ordered hair!

I've done that before, and for me it was fine. The hair should flow together nicely, and it probably will appear like some light layering.
