Where can I buy some 20"to 22" platinum human hair for under $100.?? I have a client who wants to get a weave, but can't afford the Russian hair prices. Any tip, or lead you can give would be greatly appreciated.

I'm editing our 2nd video right now: How to put in track extensions without braiding, sewing, fusion, links, or glue. I show 2 different low tech methods. We will launch the new video sometime this month.

What about ebay? Any sellers with 22" platinum hair you can recommend?
Mahalo for any help!

You could a get a high quality synth, otherwise, for less than $100.00 you're SOL.

Poose, why am I sol? I've seen 22" human hair for sale at lots of online stores. I just haven't found platinum yet.
My client isn't expecting a miracle, she doesn't expect to wear it for over 6 to 8 weeks. I always try to get clients to wear a weave for a couple of months, before they spend a ton of money on Russian hair.

Try Jet Set, I have never worn it but ordered once and it was very soft and nice. You may have to tone the 613 or maintain it with purple poo (Clairol Shimmer lights, etc). They have 22" in different texture. You will only be able to get 4 oz for around 100 bucks but if the client has hair past their shoulder that may be all they need....good luck!

Then buy it online and tone it, I have never seen a decent quality HH in blonde in 22" for less than $100.00.

But I suppose you didn't say how much hair you wanted so, I guess it is possible...

If you find some you may wanna post a link to were you bought it....alot of people here would be very interested!

EDIT: I just noticed you edited to remove "decent quality", so YES you can definitely  find some platinum blonde hair online, there are a few vendors on eBay were you can buy blonde in 26" and then you'd just have to tone it (dye  it too maybe).
I remember one seller who is from China and sells HH (supposed) for like $40.00 for 4oz of 26".
I have bought this hair before, and even the blonde, it is NOT remy, and it's single drawn, buy otherwise decent... IMHO.
I wore it for a month? Maybe at the most, I had brown, but if you want to see pictures I can post them.
They do sell blonde but it's very yellow, but very cheap, if you want I can post pictures, or a link if I can still find their eBay store.

Mokipono,
Go with Jet Set hair, it is cuticle intact, according to their website and it is nice hair. Maybe a little less nice than Bohyme, definitely more puffy when it gets old, but it's a good quality for the price. 4 oz will cost you around $90 I think, even in blonde colors, and with their tinny weft.
Good luck with the new video!

Hi Mokipono. Try www.perfectlocks.com. They only have 16"-18" listed at $119 in platinum but they're very accomodating. If your trying to match the Euro texture ask for their virgin Indian Silky Fine hair. Don't you do custom colors?

Actually, I used to wear Bohyme and now wear Jet Set and like it better. I wear color 18/22... so I don't know about the quality of their platinum, but the hair I have is definately a lightish blonde and it's stayed soft and nice for 3 installs now.  I was surprised that it's stayed so nice compared  to Bohyme, but usually by this time (month three) my Bohyme would look and feel horrible. The Jet Set has been lovely. Of course, thats just my experience, but the Jet Set is reasonably priced so why not give it a try? It's also nice because you can order 2oz. as well as 4oz.

Honey, thanks for remembering me. Yeah, I make, and install hand tied wefts. Not all my clients can afford custom hair, so I try to accommodate them. I have been using Temple Hair from Beverly Johnson for the last 12 years, but they recently discontinued it.

Hey mokipono, can't you order the lightest virgin Indian that you can find and lift it to the blonde using your technique? Can you lift from 1 or 1b? Just being noseySmile.

Honey, I can lift any color hair to blonde, but it's very labor intensive. I would have to charge a lot more.

Oh, ok. How many ounces does she need and when do you need it? I'll check a couple of places for you.

Hi poose,
You say that it frizzed again after washing. How many times were you able to restore it with the frizz remover after you installed it? Do you think it could have lasted longer than the month you wore it if you continued to use the frizz remover?

Hmm....maybe, I used a chemical frizz remover though...like from Sally's (about $4.00)
Whenever it got wet it would frizz and get wavy, and just walking around would make it tangle BAD.
There was nothing I could do. I tried just about everything.
ON second though, NO, it's a waste after 2 weeks.
