    Posted: October 31 2007 at 5:30pm

Hey guys I need your help. I had my brush for over 25 years. I love it and it has been in the family for generations but I think I need to upgrade. I hear people saying Diane brushes are the best.

1. Is this true???

2. Does the bristles last longer than most brushes???

3. If so, how long does it last?

4. Also I need to know the numbers for a good hard, medium, and soft brush.

Diane and Annie make good quality brushes.

There are alot of different number brushes, but they're labeled as hard, medium and soft.  So, you have to find which one works best for you.  I am currently using a Diane #8169 soft brush for everyday brushing.

Some brushes last a long time and some don't.  You just have to buy a new one once the bristles loose resiliency.

See I love the oval style brushes because I get a better grip. I think I want to get Diane 8157 for hard. Is 8114 a medium???

What you doin in Vermont.I just got a Diane 8168 and its the truth. It says soft on the package but its more of a medium brush.I think Ima keep using this brush and just buy new ones when they get old.I think how hard the brush is determines how long the brush last and how much you use it so no one can really give you an answer to that.
