I think most of the looks in Hawg's link are preferable to this one. Very plain and heavy. The center part takes my eye right down vertically to her nose, whereas when she has a side part my eye sweeps horizontally across her eyes.

The center part allows her long "bangs?" to cascade a tad over the corner of her eyes. I find that very hot. I find her very attractive with this hair.

at what point do bangs grow long enough to no longer be considered bangs...or do they remain so as long as there is a difference in length between a shorter front and the rest being a longer length?

I've always used the term to mean stopping in front of or above the eyes. Anything longer I'd consider long layers. But I suspect the definition and use is to some extent in the eye of the beholder, like "big chop" or "pixie."
