well the messy look is easy, but if you want thin spikes id say its still easy. I would try putting gel in my hair, and then combing it forward with a FINE TOOTH comb, and then just pull together and upward bunches of spikes all over the place.. i think that would look good.

i often see people who mess / spike their hair so that the spikes are thin and these go in many directions. what is the best way to achieve this look?
