Amazing! I ordered a set of Clairol velvet-covered hot rollers off eBay and tried them out. They're SO MUCH BETTER than the Carusos for synth. When I took them out after only 15 minutes (I used large- and jumbo-size only), my hair looked every bit as wavy as when it was first installed.
And unlike with the Carusos, the curl lasted all day. In fact, it was a little too curly for me, so I was trying to straighten it out, and it wasn't easy; it's still wavier than I'd ideally want it. In fact, a girl at work asked me if I'd had my hair redone because the curl looked exactly the same as it was a month ago.
Would post pics, but I'm all out of batteries. I will this weekend, though. I think these rollers work way better for synth than the steam rollers and the curling iron.
