But yes, I'd like to join the challenge, even though I'm 4 months late. I keep track of my progress in my Fotki (same username) as well. Let's see, I have 4a natural hair, I'm reducing the products I use, take a vitamin when I can remember, and my goal is to have a big humongous afro by next March. I can't remember all the other questions. lol
hey I decided to join this hair challenge although I am late I have Natural hair , 9 inches past my shoulders goal is to be 14 inches past shoulders which would be about 2 1/2 inches past my bra strap. I take vitamins everyday ( it helps when you place them right near your birth control, haha cause me and my husband will remember for me to take that).. I don't drink water but I do drink protein shakes which helps my hair out a little ( at least I think.

hey everyone. I have been on this challenge since i joined but this is the first time I am posting on this particular thread. i finally found a simple regimen thanks to all of you. so i'll just start with my info
I am about a 3c (i think still not sure) ...i dont take any vitamins/pills/shakes ...potective bun daily ...massage weekly before co washing ...co wash weekly (havent used shampoo since i joined)...deep condition weekly with protein and moisturizing conditiioners ...moisturize daily 1-2 a day with olive oil hair lotion, elastaqp mango butter, sealed with oils (any that i have) ...dust for split ends weekly, trim when needed
currently: 28 inches (mid back i guess)
short term goal: waist length (i think 3 more inches)
long term: after that i just want to maintain healthy ends
...today i am going to trim about an inch my ends are looking a little thin...then co wash
Well I drink tea, or crystal light ( which can kind of be like flavored water) or juicy juice. Tea isn't good I heard though because it somehow interferres with your iron absorption which helps carry the oxygen to your hair to aid in growth.... Yeah when I work out or am outside alot I love water though. I guess your body loves what it needs more then what it wants ( and I want hair growth so I might need to down more water to reach goal of 12 inches.)

Does anyone else just love Creme of Nature shampoo as much as I do, it doesn't fail no matter what high priced shampoo I buy it never leaves my hair as soft as Creme of Nature
