What do they consider a "large" quantity?

Where are the people wearing this hair now? Any opinions once it's being worn?

But it only comes in one length I think...

Hi y'all. I'm here. . . I'm wearing it and it's wearing beautifully. No problems with tangling whatsoever. I'm having a little bit of tangling with the RK I got in the #14. But it is a lot longer. The hair that I bleached and installed is a finished length of about 18" whereas the RK I got was much longer. It is not bad at all, but it does need to be cared for kinda like PH - need to brush it a few times a day, etc.

Izabella sent me a PM saying that she got a bunch of hair from this supplier but she doesn't like it; she thinks it's "too hard" and "it stinks". It did smell like mothballs I'll admit but was clean and nearly nit-free.

Basically the only advantage of ordering Virgin hair is that you know *exactly* how it's processed. I asked RK how they colored their hair and they said it was a "trade secret" which basically means they use some sort of acid bath.

That makes sence Fina! Acid bath yep,It just feels dead not silky it dosen't mat up just bunchs like the PH. I have to brush it a lot and eaven after brushing it just bunches again! This would acount for why the #4 is as bad as the 22 I got. I cut a bunch off and it still just dosen't feel right.

Which supplier are you talking about (Izabella) RK or yours?

have you tryed RK's virgin......anybody

Are you going to get more hair Fina. If not I think I will stick with EP. They have really raised there price though.

I have washed the hair from Fina's supplier (I have also ordered), and now it is a little bit better. But first time I saw it, the hair looked hard (to touch) and frizzy. But yet it feels better. But its hard to wash and make some conditioners on 2 kg hair

And the mothballs killed my nose on that day I opened the box. God thx the smell washes away...

I will post tomorrow some pictures of the other supplier I had for virgin hair. I tried about 10 companies in India and I never had that awesome quality. Virgin hair on handtied weft, very very shiny, but no silicone on it. The hair feels so soft and looks just lovely when installed. When you order straight, you get mostly straight (ok, after washing some fine moves, but its virgin)...

I really like RK's hair too, but from order to order, the hair feels different. Sometimes more soft, sometimes finer with lot of short hairs in it, but I only order remy hair..... Mmh, I think I have to wear it to say more. But RK was a good idea, as they ship very fast, and I never had probs with customs....

Oh, I forgot: SKM Human Hair in India has also very very nice virgin hair. He ships fast, and is always friendly. The prices depend on length, and if it should be sewn on weft. If anybody is interested, pm me, I will send you prices....... His hair smells really great, and holds up to 1 year (I have one friend, who is wearing this hair since last august with microrings)

Well I'm sitting on a boatload of RK I got and was planning on using it in my next install. I'm thinking I should be able to get 8 weeks out of it, shouldn't I ? ? ?

I was also considering getting another order from the guy I ordered from before and I think I can face coloring it. As I said I *LOVE* my #22 and #24 that I made from the batch.

It's just that it makes like *no sense* to order it unless you order at least 2kg, only because you have to wire the money to him (which is typically $45-$50) and I can't seem to find any freight forwarders for less than about $90. So you're already looking at nearly $150 extra. If you're getting a lot of hair, it works out OK. But otherwise those little cost make the "hair" a lot more expensive even though it's not the cost of the hair per se.

I'd love to try some but the only problem I have with the virgin hair
is the coloring issue. I can never get it to banana peel yellow without
that orange tinge. And, by the time it gets to that point the hair just
isn't "exceptional" anymore.

I've used professional powder, Quick Blue, Quick White and then
toned with various beige blondes, white blondes, blue, violet and gold
tones. I've used 20, 30 & 40 developer and I've spent a small fortune
at Sally's. I've gone through post after post after post on the "Going
Blonde" forum and the only comfort is that I'm not the only one who
can't get black/dark brown to a decent blonde. It's frustrating to ruin
good hair.

Here is one way that may help. use foil take thin sections, when hair is dark and course I allways use finer sctions so the color is geting thrugh all of it eavenly. The foil will help keep the lightener moist . if it drys out it doseent work. Then when the frist foils you put in come up rinse thoughs ones out so they don't over process. you can use a hair dryer or a potable hair dryer to heat the foils up a bit.

Yep, did foil and kept it nice and closed up. Even put it out in the
garage and let it get good n' toasty in this California heat wave. It's
not Ronald McDonald orange or anything but it's got that faint cast to
it that looks like a dye job so often and so proudly worn by the trailer
trash set.
