and wat u mean u could have gotten free if u wasnt a t-mobile customer cuz my phone is an unlocke so it can work 4 any carrier exept 4 nextel and sprint

The thing with the sidekick is you can get it unlock and use it with other carriers but the only thing you would be able to do with it is make calls and send text messages, which is useless cause you will only be using the secondary functions(yes making calls and text messages are secondary features) the data service is provided by "DANGER" and you can only get the data plan through tmobile and suncom. The data plan consist of the web browser, AIM, email, all the games, your pics and a few other things.
And when I said I could have gotten it free is because if I didn't already have the csk and wasn't a tmobile customer I could of gotten it free because that's what they do for new customers to get them under contract, they make their money off having you under contract and having you pay every month. The price you pay for the phone is mainly the stores profits and the employee's commision for selling you a phone.
