hell yea dats all my mama used to tell da barber...........cause she dont want to have to be pay to get another one the next week ...and plus when my hair start growin it looked nappy cause i never brushed my sh*t

Good hair - A popular term in the African-American community, used to describe an black person's hair that closely resembles the hair of a typical white person (i.e. soft, managable, long, as opposed to "nappy" or "bad" hair). The closer your hair is to a white person's, the "better" your hair is. See: "bad hair".

Yall need to get off that slave mentality and stop agreeing with the opressor's standard of Beauty.  Imo, Good hair is hair that is well groomed. bottomline.
 
And btw, u don't have to marry outside ur race to have a child with that so called "good hurr". My friend, who is 100% Ethiopian, has naturally wavy hair.

To me though "good" hair is healthy hair.

yea u gotta b careful bout that sometimes. A person with waves is not better than a waveless person. Its the fact that its neat and healthy that makes it "good". I think wavy hair just falls under 'unique'

I agree with you there TSOH. When I'm out and people see my hair they're all like he got that good hair. I just smile at it. But I really wanna say naw that's not it, you're just not taking proper care of yours.
