In my experience split ends = using shampoos that were as strong as laundry detergent!

"Well I don't know if I can get the book (only 16 and have no job) but I've been doing lots of research and I'm finding ways to help me.  But for now I have my hair done in twist and I will keep it in for about a month or a little lnger because I don't have much time to do my hair right now with school about to end and worrying about all my class and then going to Altanta next month.  But since I'm not really messing in my hair and I oil my hair my ends should be fine.  But before I got my hair done I was seeing a difference with my ends. "
