MissDeanna, have you considered Bohyme? Its a bit more expensive, but is very good quality. I am #613 and Bohyme always performs very well for me. I have tried MANY brands, less expensive and more expensive and always go back to Bohyme. I just havent yet found anything that will perform as well as Bohyme for me.

I found a phone number after doing a couple of searches on the net. It was not easy to find.  She was extraordinarily nice. They are sending me out D-Lux extensions to replace the Tease extensions. I really hope these work out.

Thanks again for all the advice. You girls are the best!

What a relief! Please let us know how the new batch does.

I can't wait to get it! I will definitely let everyone know how it goes. I am a little concerned about the D-Lux packages containing less hair. Since I do the princess thing I have to wear an insane amount of hair.

I really want to do Bohyme next time. I will definitely need some expert help with color selection.

I have also thought about trying synthetic hair to save some weight. With the thickness that I need my hair is super heavy. I usually wear 10-11 ounces (thank goodness for wefts, GL Cinderella, microlinks in that thickness hurt to sleep on). Lighter hair would feel so good if the texture weren't unbearable and the shine too unreal. I am a Realtor and I don't wanna look like Realtor Barbie.

LOL This is where Sherrie from hairextensions101.com comes in! She knows all about wearing a lot of hair!!!!LOLLOL She is the expert you have been looking for. We love you Sherrie!!!Tongue

You may have a good idea with the synthetic; Wawa isn't overly shiny. Although, you may find the synthetic can't be worn as long and is tricky to curl. Hope the D-Lux works out for you!!!
Love clip-ins and tape!

fakeizme, your makin' me blush Embarrassed (I wuv u too!)Tongue

MissDeanna. I wouldnt try synthetic if I were you. In the line of work you are in, synthetic hair may look too shiney. In photographs it can be even shinier. And synthetic hair does not feel like human hair, so if you have little girls touching and feeling your hair you definitely dont want synthetic hair.

Thank you Sherrie! Maybe I need to find a texture that gives me maximum volume with less weight. I really wondered about the pictures.  How is Bohyme for volume. Gosh, I wish I could see one of you experts in person. My local people have nowhere near the amount of knowledge you do.

Thank you fakeizme, you always have great advice. I know I keep saying that I appreciate you guys but I can't overstate it. I am in the process of moving across the country and have little time to search for extension advice. You guys give great unbiased reviews and it doesn't cost me anything.

I don't use a lot of product since I am always afraid of stressing the hair. I also thought about using less hair when doing a LG install and making clip ins to add volume when needed. I prefer straight low maintenance styles but when I am in character I need hair that could pass for porn star hair (yikes).

I bought a pack of Freetress Futura in brown that I am going to install temporarily while on vacation. I am going to do a coupl of rows at the nape of the neck to help hide where my darker natural hair shows through a bit.
(I'll try to post a pic)

Do you think that I dould use a synthetic in a clip in to add volume if I "hide" it between wefts of Bohyme?

I need wearable hair for my everyday life. My character visits are usually only 2-3 times a month at the most.

You know, you may want to try an indian hair.  Both dlux & tease are asian hair, which do tend to be heavier and give less volume for the weight.  Have you ever tried indian?  I know the hair from www.reallyloveit.com is getting good reviews.  Plus, there is always wagman primus which puts out a very good product w/ a super weft.  You can find that at www.wagmanhair.com  , it's the prefect tress line and you can get it in different colors too....

By the way, you are beautiful!  And kudos to you on the volunteering, what an excellent roll model you are!!

Asinnamon is right, Indian hair is lighter.
I think you would be fine using clip ins with the LG.
Wagman sends samples for free if you're interested in that. Also
if you order from Wagman and for some reason you think it's the wrong
hair (color or texture) you can return it. They have excellent customer service.

I didn't know Singer is selling hair. She's lovely and I'm sure you would
get great service from her too.
