it wouldn't make a difference. he'd just have tight curls because of his texture (people with close waves will have tight curls and people with spaced waves will have looser ones). and when he goes back to brushin...it would be the same. Tho i've read somewhere that combin spaces ur waves out I'm not sure if that's true or not tho)

micros are ok but id prefer spaced out but not too much spaced out waves because they look tight.
