My hair: Curly in front, flat in back, usually frizzy.
My hairstyle: shoulder length and worn up in everything from ponytails to two braids in one hairband to in comb-headbands.
My problem: What do I do to get rid of the frizzies? I seem to always have a group of hair that will only be one or two very curly inches long that refuses to be tamed by anything short of massive hair gel.
One thing that keeps me from getting a bad case of frizzy bed-head is that i put my hair in 1 big braid at night then brush it out in the morning.
Ok. My hair is the exact opposite. It is flat and wavy on the sides and curly in the back. I usually straighten it with a blow dryer in the morning. However, if you are trying to reach a curly style, i gots some ideas for you:
Try putting some pomade or gel into it after you get out of the shower in the morning...using your finger, twist your curls in the front and in the back, twist them up and put them into pincurls. Then take them down after a while and the curls on your head should be even. If that doesnt' work, try using a curling iron the size of the curls in the front of your head, and curl the back into spiral curls. When you are done doing that...put some Redken Rewind into your hair. It helps piece the curls out and hold the curl. If you have any questions...email me at voodoobaby@webnfroghead.com. To help rid the frizz, try some shine serum or cream based product. Good luck.
