Went For The Pixie

I actually got a pixie. I got it done today. It is short, maybe one inch long. I kind of just wanted it done after having my really long hair cut off, I can`t believe I worked up the courage. I see myself in the mirror right now and can`t believe it. A few weeks ago, my hair was ove 2 feet long, now its about an inch. It was kind of exilerating today. The same stylist who messed up the first time, I now told to cut the rest off. It was really wierd seeing more of my hair on the ground. I can`t believe I got this done, It actually looks pretty good.

After reading your post I was sadened. I love women with long healthy hair. What did it feel like when you were there getting it all cut off? How long did it take to cut? Did the solon use clippers? Do you regret doing it?

Believe me, you did the right thing. If it (whatever 'it' is) makes you feel good, AND has the bonus of being cool and sexy as well, it really doesn't matter what conventional people think! This is as important for hair as it is for clothes, makeup, whatever. Perhaps you'll have a buzzcut next time!?
