QuoteReplyTopic: Should I cut it? Posted: May 06 2000 at 1:37am
I'm a 15 year old male with slightly wavy, dark blonde hair; about 3-4" past my shoulders. I have a light complexion, and a long, narrow face. I've had long hair for about 5 years now, and I've been considering getting it cut. If I do, it will be first thing in the morning (it's 1:30 AM), and I don't if or how I should get it cut. I've heard a lot of girls like that spiked/gelled look; but I think it looks a little preppy. I dress like a skater--baggy pants and that kind of thing. I dunno what to do, so if anyone could give me some advice, that would really make my day...
I dunno, but ask your girlfriend/ friend's girlfriend/ girl who is a friend/ sister or cousin. They should know what you like, what you look like, etc. SOMEBODY must have a suggestion. Good luck!!
hey well i'm 15 too, except i'm a girl. i wasn't going to respond but long hair is nasty(don't take that offencive)sk8r guys are the only guys, and ur gonna feel much better after u get it cut.ur posted e-mal says ur getting it done soon and so i asume it's already cut. the spiky look isn't preppy, but the pushed look is. so believe me no matter how it's cut as long as it's short it look better!

Did you bail out at the last minute"? I hope so. Long hair is great on many guys. There 's nothing wrong with this. It's just that the army don't aggree. If you cut it, at least don't spike it or put those ugly looking streaks \in it. Spikes aren't preppy - they're trashy (no offense that 's just the way they look) and sticky and more costly than just - hey - hair!
