Jangles, is you hair straight or wavy, and what texture does it have (fine, coarse...)? Anyway, there are some nice web sites about bobs - you might want to check out www.hairdos.com (not only bobs there, but LOTS of other fantastic ideas) or check out http://www.informatik.tu-muenchen.de/~kuerten/spec/bob.html (might load a little slowly) or http://www.aluna.com/worship_bobs.html for lots of bobs. I'm almost sure you find ideas there.
Good luck - and let us know if you have any question or comment.

jangles, There are a number of things that you can do different depending on your hair. My hair is thick and naturally curly. I have had many variations of bobs the past couple of years. I blow my hair out straight everyday. The bob that I liked the most (and the one that I am growing out to now) was a one length bob just below my ears with about an inch of the nape cut really short and bangs to my brows. I like the movement and versatility of bobs. You have many options such as layering, or elevating the back. What do you think that you want?
I just got it cut today and it is short just straight around about a centimeter from the bottom of my ear and I would like to know about some styles to do with it but I think it is to short to anything with, I would like any more ideas that you can help me with and it is straight as a board

jamgles, There are different things that you can try. I assume that it is all one length without layers. I like to use barrettes and the small butterfly clips to pull my hair back. You can use one big barrette in the middle on top or two, one on each side. I usually use one small butterfly clip for each side. Both barrettes and the clips come in many different style. You can also try parting in different places. I usually part my hair in the middle but sometimes to get a little different look I will part it on one side or the other. I changes the style some. Hope I helped. Let me know if you want to talk more.

Well the back of my hair is cut really close from the bottom hair line up about an inch. I had to do this so that I could get the length on the sides and the back the same. It also gives a little more movement. As for bangs I think that they are more girlish but that doesn't bother me because I am a little girlish anyway. I mean to 99.9% of people my bob is a girls style anyway. If there is anything else feel free to e-mail me at bobbedguy@excite.com or post here.
