Hi,

I currently have all one length hair to my bra strap and I'm thinking of getting my hair feathered for a fun change for summer. I've noticed some celebs and others wearing their hair this way. I have some questions though:

Will this be a pain to style? (My hair is kind of thin.)
How long should be bangs and shortest layers be cut to give it the right effect?
Should I leave the length in back or cut it to just below my shoulders?
Anything other info to bring to my stylist will be appreciated!!!! Does anyone know where pics of this style would be posted??

Hello!

I think, with regard to it being a pain to style, you might have some difficulties if your hair isn't quite straight (like the celebrities). I had this problem a while ago, 'cause my hair is really wavy. If you really want to put the layers in, you should cut it to just below your shoulders, so it won't appear too thin. Also because it's thin, you might want long layers. As for where to find a picture of this style... I'm sure there are some websites, but there was an issue of Seventeen magazine (like a year or so ago...I don't know if you'll find it on their web site) with 101 best hair styles. There was one of Jennifer Aniston with it =)
Best wishes,
Catriona
