I have pretty thick and kind of long dark hair and I want to spike it straight up

Anyone know of a product I could use and how to apply it so it will work

I have used gel but it didnt work, i thimk i put it in wrong or something

Please help

i sugest that you consider using a product called shock waves in comes in mouses,gels,waxs and hairsprays the products tend to make the hair hard and stay in the style of your choice.
