I`m an 18 year old guy with ... well, really really weird hair.
I`m part African, part German, part Phillipino and part English, so ... my hair is really messed up! It`s naturally pretty wavy, and very curly towards the front. I just wish I had a way to, you know, find a low maintenance hair style.
It`s pretty dry looking a lot, and some parts are curlier or wavier than other parts, so ... it`s not very consistent, you know? Should I straighten it, or grow it out curly??? If you have any suggestions, or remedies, or ANYTHING, please reply!!!!!
Why not do a short hair cut? Have the sides cut with the clippers and have the top cut as short as they can cut it with the scissors. Or leave it a little bit longer if you think it would look better. You could then put some gel in it so help control it. By cutting it short, you would get a lot of the dry hair off. Have you tried a deep conditioner?
I haven`t found a shampoo or conditioner just right for my hair. I used to use Pantene. I even have this thing where I wash my hair then I run Pantene conditioner through my hair and just let it dry like that. Is that bad???
I was thinking ... maybe I should get dreads? Or something of a similar nature? Alternatively, is there any way I can have straight hair without like using irons or blow dryers? Aren`t their chemicals you can use? I`ve noticed a lot of black singers who used to have really curly or wavy hair, but now it`s perfectly straight. I`m guessing they`ve gotten theirs chemically done. Any tips? I don`t want too short hair, because I want hair to, like, play with and style, you know? Too short is just so boring. I look really good with hair standing up in the front. I used to straighten my hair and kept that style for a while. Like forward and then up in the front type thing. But it`s annoying, so I was wondering if there were any chemicals.

k... there`s this conditioner that`s used both for horses and for humans (don`t get grossed out...) if this conditioner can untangle and make a horses mane shiny, i`m sure it could help your hair.. it`s leave-in, too.. so you just run it through your hair after a shower and it should make it look a bit better! it`s called `Mane and Tail` also, maybe a short look would be better?? good luck
