i have put my hair in a ponytail at the base of my neck for 3 years every day. recently i tryied putting some in a clip and that was nice. i experiment with butterfly clips, but my hair is really thick and shoulder-length. i want a new style. any suggestions?

3 years - every year! I think you need a major change. I would explore the hairstyle gallery. Go for it - sounds like you need a change.
