I tried both but Im not sure which is healthier. I have very thick hair that stops at the bottom of my neck. I also know my hair is damaged but i dont know how badly.

If you know your hair is damaged, I wouldn't use either choice. Have you tried some conditioning type products for your styling? What is your hair type?

She black like me. You black right ma? if you are yeah me to and my hair is permed too and it's the dame length as yours except I'm cutting mine into an angled bob real soon.
