I have always been entranced by the scene near the end of "Somewhere in Time", where Jane Seymour turns to Christopher Reeve, pulls the clip out of her hair, and lets it tumble down across her shoulder. A similar scene occurs in Karate Kid Part II when Tamlyn Tomita, who wears her hair up or braided throughout the movie, removes the chopsticks during a tender moment and allows her hair to fall loosely. Can anyone point me to similar scenes, where long hair is used advantageously in movies or television?(Another example is in "Cheers", when Lilith lets her hair down and completely captivates Frasier.)Robert

There is an early episode of "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman" called "Bad Water" where Joe Lando (as Sully) is on an expedition in the mountains with Dr. Quinn (Jane Seymour). She has broken her arm and hasn't fixed her hair for a day or so. He was annoyed before that she brought her mirror in her camp equipment, but now when she looks at her messy hair in the mirror and looks dismayed, he gently unpins it for her and starts to brush it out. This scene was something of a milestone in the romance between these characters getting started. A very romantic and lovely scene!
