Maybe you should change the site name to "I can't believe it's about hair." Quite frankly, your new site is very rude and done in bad taste. This site was to promote long hair and the care of it, NOT sex and how to find an interent lover. If advertising g-rated xxx pictures and women flirting for the camara, as well as, "let's find our internet lover" is what your idea of long hair is all about, then maybe you should be in the porn industry not the hair industry.-Angry

Dear Very Angry,I'm sorry that your angry about this web site. You really should chill out as there really is nothing to be angry about. You either like this web site or not. You don't have to visit this web site if you don't want to. However, it would really be a shame to lose you as a visitor. We do care what our visitors think about our web site, but we also realize that we can't satisfy everyone. So I hope you will spend some more time exploring our site and I'm sure you will discover that your comments are off the mark.As to your specific allegations that this web site is not about hair, all I can say is that this site has far more hair care information that it ever has and Karen & I are striving on a daily basis to add more and more of the latest and greatest information on hair care, the hair care industry, hair care products, hair styles and hair styling trends.As to your comment about the g-rated xxx pictures, I can't think of a more odd thing to say. I personally believe that hair (long or short) is a beautiful thing and showing beautiful women with long hair, short hair or interesting hair styles is consistant with the topic of this web site. Many of our visitors are looking for new and interesting things to do with their hair and the gallery gives them many examples of other hair styles.Yes, there is the mystery, sexy, and romantic aspects of long hair and we choose to acknowledge those aspects on this web site. But it is always done in good taste and not with a purient interest. If you are uncomfortable with this aspect of hair then I suppose this site is not for you.As to your questioning our creation of the Long Haired Singles discussion board. The reasoning for this is very clear. Lately there has been a number of postings in the Hair Talk discussion board of a singles/personal ad nature. So in order to keep Hair Talk focused on hair care topics, Karen & I decided to create to the Long Haired Singles discussion board.I believe that you underestimate the amount of work that Karen & I have put into this site to make it everything that our visitors want it to be. Sure we will make mistakes from time to time. Maybe the site will not cover a topic that a visitor wants us to cover or the site will cover a topic that may offend someone, but you can rest assured that Karen & I will always strive to be the best hair related site on the web.Jeff.

Angry,I do agree with your interest on providing more "quality" pictures, and the long hair singles forum is quite odd, but the information on this site is good. My hair has grown to a length it has never reached before I had obtained the information provided here. I hope that you and I can avoid the negitive pictures posted and just read the information.Jennifer Ann

Dear Jennifer Ann,I am glad that you have gotten some good hair tips from our site. We do try hard to provide as much hair information as we possibly can. I have 7 new hair articles that we have not even posted yet because it requires time and scanning of head shots of the information (hair mascaras and new styles of braids, etc.)As fas as avoiding the objectionable photos......Jeff and I have specifically removed the photo on the Home page with the long blonde braid. The photo was selected specifically for the braid and for no other reason. Are there other negative pictures on the site that are objectionable?I am getting frustrated because we select photos (which we pay for from photographers) specifically because of the quality of the hair. Sometimes it is difficult to control the model's clothing to the point of having no skin showing.The new forum was added because we wanted to make sure that Hair Talk was specifically reserved for Hair Talk. There was no way we could prevent people from adding personal themes and singles postings. They are going to add them no matter what. Jeff and I hoped that by creating the separate forum that we could keep Hair Talk for strictly hair.Yes...it is odd. Why does Angry check the personals page, if she isn't interested? She has a chip of some sort. I am not weird for loving the sight of a woman's hair. The world is not asexual for me, and that does not make me a crude skirt-chaser. You know, Angry should not be so quick to demean people. I love many things of life: nature, animals, land, sea, mountains, deserts, the plains, and on and on. I do not like cold people. Hair alone is meaningless, unless it is alive, purposeful and noticed for something. Life is short, so enjoy your hair and realize that many people enjoy beautiful hair. People use if they choose various methods of introductions for dating, what is wrong with using a forum where you may find a lady of your personal preference.
