Hi,I have had a lot of email lately about creating the "wet" look on hair that is actually dry (blow dried or air dried). I have been experimenting with a lot of different products....besides Aveda's shine product, Aloe gel and Confixer. They (the Aveda) will all work and I know for a fact that they don't damage my hair after using them. I have just recently tried the Shine since I was worried about the "cone" ingredient. I have researched this and find it to be OK for my hair.I purchased Sebastian's "Wet" gel product on Wednesday night and tried it. The instructions require you to apply to wet hair and dry. I did that. I had to apply a lot to give my hair the wet look. I did achieve it. But I had to use a LOT to keep my hair looking wet. However, after using the product for one day, the next day when I shampooed my hair...it felt dry and "crackly". Not good for me.When I purchased the "Wet" I talked at length with the owner of the salon and she said that she found it to have no damaging ingredients. True...I did not see alcohol or anything else that would worry me. Yet it did apparently dry out my hair.I have also experimented with Redken's "Glass" which I do like and have had not problems with...but it is more of a shine product than a wet look product.Ironically the salon owner suggested that I use some good old fashioned Alberto VO5 hair creme and just layer it on thickly. Hmmmmmm. I have not tried that idea yet. Not sure I want to.Anyway....I am still on the lookout for a good "wet" hair product other than Aveda's which I know work well if used correctly.Has anyone found a good "wet" look hair product other than Aveda that they like and works well for them? I would love to get the feedback. Please post any suggestions. Thanks everyone.Karen
