I recently got my hair clipped short (1/8 of an inch). I love it! This seems like an excellent time to experiment with different colors - if I don't like it, I can always buzz it off and start over. But, using the regular dyes available at the drugstore seems sort of wasteful - I'd only use a small amount each time, and I'd probably do touch ups pretty often.
