Hey there! Ho there! Thanks for the information (I think it was you, Dawn, but I'm not sure) about elastic hair ties without the dastardly metal crimps. There I was, with time to kill and a whole paycheck in my pocket, at my favorite pretty-cheap store. And if I had not known to look for them, I would not have found them. As it was, I picked up and fondled (well, not really fondled) the regular metal crimp hair holders. And, as if to rescue me, these glued ones jumped out at me. In relief (and amazement) I bought them. Thanks again! Now I just have to provide myself with enough light in the early mornings to tell the dark green from the dark blue. Who wants to turn on too many lights when it's 6 a.m.? Geck!RunningWild

Hi Running Wild,Yes those metal thingys have chewed a few hairs out of my head in my lifetime. :-)"Hair Friendly" is certainly better. Of course lately I have been addicted to Dawn's hair ties and have fallen in love with the cloisonne ones. However, I have been known to buy the soft Goody elastic hair ties at Walmart and keep them all over the place.Sometimes I think they are like hangers and they breed in the dark. :-)Have a great weekend.Karen> Hey there! They are high quality hair ties that will not disappoint you in any way. I love mine. Cher~
Cher:Yes, the $ in my pocket makes an itch, but I'm a nearly incurable tightwad. Could never blow a whole paycheck (no matter how small) in one spot.I haven't seen Dawn's hair ties, I had a tough time with the hairsticks, gimme a break. I thought "Lovely! Wonderful! Clever! (then) ... can I make these (in true tightwad fashion)? ... (and then) Oh well."I'm almost scared to look at her hair ties, but I will, thanks!RunningWild
> Hangars, dirty dishes, hair ties, the evil trinity!> Making more when no one's looking! Naughty, naughty!Obviously my hair ties are missing some essential nutrient, or I have a one-gender population, because mine never do that. 8(Mine seem to vanish rapidly, actually. Of course, I can't complain too much - when I was living with my parents, it was even worse, because my sister would take them.Laura Janelswanson@sunflower.bio.indiana.edu
Laura Jane:Whenever I or my husb misplace hair ties, Fritt finds them eventually. This morning she found the ones I lost in bed recently, and played madly with them until I awoke and put an end to her fun. :\ Poor thang. But I'm serious, she finds the ones that get knocked off tables (perhaps by her!) and brings them out to play with ... eventually. As to the genetic make-up of hair ties, well, maybe they need to be pollinated or something? Good luck with the breeding program! :):)RunningWild
