I try alternating it with the Curessence to do some deep conditioning time.. I don't know how they make it but I have also tried the Jojoba oil and it is much thicker and does not spread as far or evenly. Even tho the Aveda oil is the more expensive, I believe it is more cost effective by it's spreading consistancy. I guess it's one of Aveda's secrets.. Cher~

Ok, ok, after all the talk here about Aveda's Beautifying Oil, I finally broke down and decided to try some. The problem was, when I went to the salon near the lab, they didn't have it! I read the bottles of stuff they did have, and the Energizing one said it was also good for hair, so I got some of that, figuring it was worth a try.I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and WOW! I'm impressed. Everyone who said it is totally different from plain jojoba oil, you were absolutely right! It goes a lot farther, and feels (and smells) a lot nicer. I'm planning on ordering some of the Beautifying Oil from WW Beauty Store soon, to see if that works as well for me.I'm really very impressed - I think the cost per use may actually be lower than the plain jojoba I've been using, because it goes so much farther, and it's definitely more effective. I wonder what makes the difference.I just thought I'd add my opinion, since I finally got around to trying the stuff, and since I have a little time. I'm currently sitting at my desk with my foot up on my scanner, trying to bring down the swelling in my knee.
