Hi Bill,You're right. I didn't mention the WW Beauty Gold Club. I didn't mention it because it was just started in the last week or so. You are probably one of the first new members. :-) I am planning to join myself since I want in on the daily & weekly specials. :-)I am in the process of writing hair care product reviews for several products I have tested and I am including pricing information. It is amazing but every time I compare WW Beauty Store with other online stores, they always come in a lot cheaper. So it is still my fav place to shop. Thanks for the update about the new club. Sounds like a good deal to me. :-)Best wishes,Karen> Patty,> Karen is so correct in letting you know about the> World Wide Beauty Store featured on this site. Patty,Karen is so correct in letting you know about the World Wide Beauty Store featured on this site. I wrote an article about my experiences with Aveda and at the time was buying locally (Fort Worth, Texas) and paying sales tax. Doing a little math made me realize that I could buy the same product for almost the same amount of money (depending on the quantity you buy), not be out the hassle of having to go to the salons, and enjoy the convenience of just stopping by the mailbox to get your order. Another item that Karen did not mention is the "Gold Key" Club being offered by the World Wide Beauty Supply. For $30.00, you get an additional 5% discount on purchases, priority shipping at the same rate as standard, daily, weekly and monthly specials and access to the services of Mickhael who will give you a free consultation and send you a monthly makeover for a year! If you cannot find Aveda locally, please give this site a shot..... You could do a WHOLE lot worse!Good Luck!Bill Beenecsckid@swbell.net

It thoroughly agrees with my hair. A few weeks ago I bought one 9oz bottle of Shampure..and one 9oz bottle of Curessence.. cost 32.00. I went the next day and bought 9 bottles of different varieties of NG.. cost 42.00. A big cost difference. But I can't break away from Aveda all together.. that once a month deep conditioning with Curessence is a treat. I think the ones who have gotten into using NG owe Dawn a note of thanks.. Cher~

I'm in agreement with Cher on most of this. I, too, used Aussie (for quite a few years, actually) before I started using Aveda. I, too, am currently alternating with Nature's Gate products. I definitely find my current routine to work much better for my hair than the Aussie products did, but they worked reasonably well for me for quite a while, especially before I moved here (Indiana) from Delaware.I will mention that Aussie actually seems to work better for some people than Aveda - my husband, for example. While we were on a church trip last spring, he forgot his shampoo and stuff, so he used my Aveda, and we were not impressed. The results weren't awful, but they were not an improvement. It was just as well, in our opinion - Aveda is expensive, and he wouldn't have been willing to buy it for himself (although he is strongly in favor of it for my hair).I could be quite content using Aveda products almost exclusively except for the cost. I really like some of the Nature's Gate products too, and they are a lot less expensive, so I alternate them in. Aveda's Curessence is my favorite conditioner, but Nature's Gate Camomile is a fairly close second. It takes a lot more of the Nature's Gate, but I calculated the cost-per-use, and it's less than the Aveda.I can second Karen's recommendation about the WWBeauty Store - their prices are much better than buying Aveda products locally.Laura Janelswanson@sunflower.bio.indiana.edu

Hi,I have been a big supporter of the WW Beauty Supply site (listed in the Hair Boutique links section) with Mickhael and Ace for a long time. This site does carry the comple line of Aveda. Recently I ordered a large amount of products from them, including lots of ARTec and lots of Aveda. I was very pleased with the way they handled everything and they sent me lots of little tiny sample items. In fact, I got hooked on two of the little KMS products they sent me. (On no...more reviews I guess)I also use WW Beauty when I send thank you gifts of hair care products to visitors who help the Hair Boutique by donating photos or articles or other information. I have had great feedback from them about WW Beauty.I have gotten spoiled with WW Beauty. It used to be that I would have to get it my car and get to the place in Dallas where I bought all my Aveda and ARTec (Ecco Salon & Spa). The salon/spa was an Aveda concept salon and they gave me a volume discount with a punchcard. However I still had to pay sales tax (high in Dallas) and drive several miles and take time out of my too busy world to get the stuff. Now I just click over to the WW Beauty site, shop, type in my credit card, wait for my email confirmation from Ace and about 7-10 days later I swing by my mailbox and pick up my order. I save the hassle of physically going to the store and I save sales tax. I also think that the Aveda prices at WW Beauty are about the best I can find anywhere else. Including off the Internet.I would not recommend WW Beauty if I had not first tried their service and bought their products and if I had not done a Net comparison. I have a rule that I don't recommend any products or services that I personally believe would be a less than positive deal for the HB visitors.Best wishes,Karen

ÜI was using Aussie before switching to Aveda. I used to think Aussie was good until I switched. I have been using Aveda for at least 7 or 8 months. I alternate it with Natures Gate products which I think highly of also. You can access Aveda online at Aveda.com to see where a salon that carries Aveda is closest to you. Or you can check out Karen's links to the online beauty supply if you don't mind ordering over the internet. Aveda is kind of pricey but worth it in my opinion. I use more of NG products because they are more reasonably priced. I can't kick the Aveda habit tho . good luck! Cher~
