Hi,Okay, here we go. I have recently been working very closly with the moon phases. (THANKS KAREN for all your great info!). I just wanted to know one thing. Does the moon phases over ride the transits (trine, square etc.) or vice versa? I'd really like to know....not only for my hair care routine, but dealing with the public in my p/t job in the next upcoming months.*Smile*Jennifer B.

Hi Jen,Here is what I have found.1. Your natal chart takes precedence over everything. You natal signature is magnified or minimized depending on the transits. So if you have a great natal Jupiter in the 10th house of career and you are having an excellent transit to your natal Jupiter, this will be much more of the focus. If you are having a challenging transit, the focus will be more on lessons and potential growth.2. Transits will impact your natal chart but only maximize or minimize the natal signature. Not alter it.3. The moon deals mainly with daily events and events with other people (moon). It has a very minor influence on your natal chart since the moon zips through a sign every 2 1/2 days. The lunations (new & full) will have an impact that may last from 2 weeks to 1 month and is mostly a factor in triggering events.I was told this secret by a great astrologer at a convention in LA back in 1982. He told me that the LAST ASPECT that the moon makes before it moves into the next sign is the indication of how daily events will turn out. So for example, if you start a new job with a last aspect of the Moon Square Mars, this would indicate possible fighting (mars) and struggles.Your transits and natal chart would come into play in the fact that if you had a natal chart that indicated overall good experiences in a working environment that the impact of the moon would be minor. If you had a natal chart AND matching transits that indicated difficulties in your work environment....then the Moon SQ Mars would just magnify that even more.Doing things with good last aspects can minimize natal or transit influences. It can also maximize positive natal/transit indications. So basically the moon is a small piece, but can be helpful.I personally try to avoid starting anything new or significant during a moon aspect that might be very challenging like squares or oppositions. However, even the best moon aspects (Moon Trine Venus or Moon Trine Jupiter) can not make a dent in a natal/transit signature.Example..someone has a natal indication that they have difficulty holding jobs. They may experience a transit that makes that indication stronger. Even the best moon will not override that. However, it may slow it down or make things a little more pleasant.I hope I didn't confuse you with all this.If you would like to talk more I will try to answer your questions offline if you like. Email me at shelton@hairboutqiue.com.Best wishes,Karen> Hi,> Okay, here we go. I have recently been working very> closly with the moon phases. (THANKS KAREN for all> your great info!).
