Big Bad Frizzy Hair Problems!!!

I've got super super thick hair and it's about about half way down my back. After spending 15 to 20 min. to get all the tangles out in the morning, they come right back by midday. I love long hair and I'd hate to cut it all off but there's just not enough hours to spend in the day on my hair!! Also I just got it permed and it went out in a day making my hair super frizzy! You get the picture! Help so I can leave the house without a hat on!
