I have pretty dry ends but the rest of it is a little oily. Also there's visible dandruff on my hair recently whereas in the past the flakes came about only when i start to scratch my scalp. WHat should I do?? What kind of shampoo and conditioner can i use???Janice

I have the same problem: dry ends and dandruff. I've been told NOT to use the standard "dandruff shampoos" (e.g. Head and Shoulders) because the chemicals that strip the flakes off your scalp actually make the problem WORSE over time by irritating the scalp, so you never stop needing the dandruff shampoo!I've been following a regimen from Louise Marie Longhairs and have been seeing excellent results!! It includes using a scalp oil treatment, naturally "medicated" shampoo, and conditioner. My hair and scalp are responding very well; shiny, manageable, and flake-free!Your condition may be different, but I suggest you talk with a trusted stylist or contact Worldwide Beauty Store (www.wwbeautystore.com) or Louise Marie Longhairs (www.doctorlonghair.com) and see what they might suggest.Good luck!> I have pretty dry ends but the rest of it is a little> oily. It's not pricey and can be found in your local healthfood store. If not maybe they can order it for you. Nature's Gate is produced by the Levlad co. NG also makes a variety called Biotin. It is great for cleansing the scalp. My husband uses both of these and his scalp has gone fromterrible to very healthy. For those ends I would recommend NG's Jojoba...or Artec's Moisture PAC...Read Karen's article on Artec. It's great stuff!Happy New Year.. Cher
