i have wavy hair, which i usually blow-out straight. but i'd also like to try letting it go curly. can anyone recommend a styling agent (mousse, gel, whatever) that encourages hair to curl??

Hi Silvie!I love Curly Head Questions! I have shoulder length--on the grow-- loose curls (think Julia Roberts) and I swear it has been my lifes goal to find something that will enhance my hair in its natural state! My hair routine, although a bit complex to those straight haired girls, is working wonders for me at the moment! I shampoo and condition with the ARTec Smoothing line then I towell dry my hair and put in a nickel size amount of the ARTec Smoothing Conditioner (yes it is my reg. cond.). Next, I work a quarters worth of ARTec Texture Creme through my hair (for moisture and support) and then follow it up with good 'ol Dep Gel (the one with moisturizers in it). Dep is awesome for curls! I tried it after reading an In Style issue that featured curly haired "Noxema" girl Rebecca Gayheart. I figured that if it worked for her spirals, it would work for me and it has!Sherry :)
