If you have natural curly hair, Ouidad is the BEST. She is a stylist that specializes in this type of hair which she has had all her life.Karen has done two great articles on Ouidad. One was an interview and one is the latest Hair Link of the Week award. Also, Lori did a review of her products.Check out:http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip079.htm &http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip032.htm &http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip031.htmCheck it out.> I was cursed with natural curly hair. > I was cursed with natural curly hair. It is hard to> wear it short, medium and long any suggestions?Hi,I just posted a brand new article (about 20 minutes ago) on the front page of Hair Boutique that talks about chemical hair straightening. This is the first in a series I am doing about curly hair. While I don't advocate how people deal with their curly hair challenges, many people do follow the chemical straightening route. As far as what to do with your hair....yes...you do have limitations. My current hairstylist...Shelley Pryor at Salon Michelle in Plano, Texas has very very curly hair. I have seen her wear some great styles though on her curly hair.Last week she took her hair and pulled the front back smoothly with a headband and then put a small claw clip underneath her hair so that her hair formed a soft cascade of curls at the top of her head. The front and nape of her hair was smooth and the curls sofly cascaded down. It looked really great. She also wears her hair in "half" French twists which are very smooth and tight at the bottom and then she lets the natural curls "spill out at the top". It looks really great on her too.Hang in there...we are getting ready to do a new article that shows curly hair styles and options. We should have that in the next few weeks.Shelley has always told me that the key to controlling her curly hair is making sure that it is soft. She accomplishes that with either Aveda or ARTec moisturizing shampoos and conditioners. She also uses a Nexxus styoing product with great results.Hope this helps a little bit.Best wishes,Karen

Great and inexpensive products like Vo5's conditioners soften hair and makes it easier to work with. You could even consider keeping it at a medium to long length and getting it straightened(via the press or blowdry method).
