Can anyone suggest the best deep conditioner for damaged, porous hair? I have a section on the top, back layer of my hair that is pretty damaged, and I like to use a stronger conditioner on this area since the rest of my hair isn't so bad. I'm looking for one to use in the shower and/or a leave-in. I'm currently using Potion 9, but it seems as though I need something more conditioning. I've alsoused ARTec's Moisture Pac(not enough moisture), Aveda's Curressence(no thanks!), and KMS Strategy(ok, but looking for something better). Thanks all!Kara
I use a product called CPR (Critical Protection and Repair),a deep conditioner from Motions. I've used it twice and myhair's health has greatly improved. I have significantly less breakage than before and my hair is very soft and smooth. The product comes in an orange container with a purple top. CPR can be found in a beauty supply store for about $5.99.

Alternate the K-Pak and Extreme in the mixture for a change. william

Works wonders for troublesome spots. You could also mix it with some Haas avocado for some added fat. If you use the mixture weekly for one month, I think that you will see a substantial improvement.Bye for now,Jade21
Kara:Perhaps you need to try these products with a heating capfor a more intensified conditioning. It was advised thatI get one at naturallycurly.com and I LOVE the results! Iuse the heating cap 2-3 per week with pure coconut oil and the results are amazing. I don't think I would get thiseffect with just using any product without the added heatfrom the heating cap.HTH!sasha
