I have tried every product, from salon bought to store bought, and haven't had any success. I have tried Willow Lake (rosemary blend for moisture), and their line of conditioners. They smell absolutely heavenly!!...and they seem to work well with my hair type. I am half asian, but my hair is naturally coarse and wavy! Thus, I straighten it daily with an iron and Frizzease. Has anyone had any expierences with Willow Lake?...Good or Bad!Thanks!!!
Isobelle, I'm glad Willow Lake is working for you, because I had a very tough time with it! I loved the smell, and kept giving it a try for that reason, but the shampoos left my hair limp and looking totally lifeless. Ugh! I hope you continue to have a good experience with it, though!I'll say this much, though: if Willow Lake made body lotions, I'd buy some just to keep smelling the aroma!

> Yes, I have to agree that the scent is truly wonderful! I wish there was the "perfect" shampoo out there that smelled wonderful and does wonders for your hair. My little sister (she's 19, I'm 26), laughs at me and calls me a "shampoo junkie!", becuase I've tried everything under the sun, and usually go for the smell and the bottle rather than the product. I know, I know...I have to find something GOOD for my hair!!! Although, I do remember as a child I had the BEST shampoo! It was something called "honey and wheat"...or something along those lines. It was heavenly. I remember I found a bottle in the drugstore years ago, and just the scent brought back all my childhood memories of great smelling hair! (...and of course healthier hair too!)
A while back, I bought the Lavender/Mint shampoo and theCarrot/Milk conditioner. The shampoo is junk but smells great, the conditioner smells okay too.I comb my hair with a wide toothed comb, then I apply a lot of their conditioner an hour before showering on dry hair and just leave it on and then I rinse it out with warm water, shampoo my hair twice with one of my better shampoos , rinse that out with warm water, and use one of my better conditioners such as NG aloe, and rinse that out with cool water. Then I finger comb and air dry, then I comb it with a wide toothed comb. I never style. The conditioner does great repairs, but if I use it after shampooing, it leaves my hair looking oily and the lavender mint shampoo makes my hair frizzy.
