I tried the artect smoothing line for the first time and though I would post my expereince. I have wavy elbow lenght hair in good condition, though it has a tendancy to tangle.I love the way the products smells. They left my hair feeling very soft and tangle free. But my hair also looks incredibly dull. There is absolutley no shine to my hair. Maybe I used too much smoothing serum. I only wash my hair once or twice a week, and I seem to be attracting dust. I'll try it next time with just the shampoo and conditioner.Does anyone have any expereince using a shing product on top of the arctec products?
Hi there!I am difinately one of ARTec's biggest fans (along with others from this boutique site). I have naturally curly hair (loose though) that i like to wear both blown straight and curly, depending on my mood. I own a variety of Artec products, specifiaclly the entire Smoothing line, Volume Shampoo (as a clarifier), Texture Creme, Texture Gel and Aeromousse, AND the all powerful Moisture-Pac! In addition to using ARTec, I always use a shine spray and a dollop of laminate serum. With hair like mine, it's almost a must. Anyway, i have had great results with this combination. Out of all the products, i must say that I like the Smoothing serum the least. The smell isn't quite right and it does make my hair seem a bit dirty. Since you are only washing twice a week, I can sympathise with your situation. My other suggestion is, that since you only wash twice a week, to use the Volume shampoo in place of the Smoothing Shampoo and follow with the Smoothing Conditioner. This may help tp remove any compounded build-up. Also, when experiencing a new hair care line for the first time, you really need to give it a couple of tries. Most lines, and i have found this to be true with ARTec as well, have a cummulative effect. I recall my first shower with ARTec and I was NOT impressed-- however, that has all changed now. I don't know how I lived without it! Especially the Moisture-Pac-- Gosh is that stuff great! Anyway, I hope this advice helps.PS- don't be afraid to try silicones sprays with ARTec, you shouldn't be line loyal. I use Citre Shine and Jerri Rhedding!Sherry> I tried the artect smoothing line for the first time> and though I would post my expereince.
