Hi all you lucky people,As I approach 50, I'm finding I need to do some face 'plucking'. Do you folks have any suggestions for the best hair removal system. I know waxing is popular; how about those electroid thing-a-ma-bobs? Permanent would be nice :-)...I have two unrelated questions I'll post seperately. Thanks in advance.

I have had it done to me and tho time consuming and sometimes pricey, it is permanent. I went to school myself and have a certificatein electrolysis. Currently I am having the hair removed from the base of my neck to raise the hairline... there was quite a bit of hair to remove and my hair is stubborn and loves to grow back. It's taken me approximately 10 months to clear this area up. Well worth it and it's done for the rest of my life. It used to make me self conscience to wear my hair up but now I admire my hairline.. and I am thankful I put the time and effort in to get it done. It is a bit painful if you have a low pain tolerance.. to me it's not bad at all.I have had my face worked on also.. it is worth it.. Just make sure the person is certified and also uses disposable needles..Cher~

About a year ago I got the Igia home electrolysis as a gift to myself and it cost me $100. I thought it was a good alternative to the pricey salon electrolysis, however it yeilded no results and was very time consuming. I use waxing for larger areas of hair. And tweezing for smaller areas. If you can afford the salon electrolysis you should do it. I would if I could. Good Luck in your decision.
