Please help me!I've been using LML products for 2 weeks now: the 2 kinds of hairgasm shampoo, the protein shampoo, the Lillith Conditioner, and the 9 trees (oil) conditioner, plus the spray on products magic spray and the protein spray.Well, I stopped using them because they are so dryng to the hair. That's the only problem I noticed with it, though. So yesterday I went back to my usual Nexxus Therappe and humectress conditioner, and only noticed that my hair on top felt kind of dry and gummy ( I also noticed that when rinsing out the conditioner it looked too foamy, like the 9 trees did when I had rinsed it out the last hairwash I did with the LML products, which was right before this one.)Now, this morning, I'm noticing much more hair "shedding" from the top of my bang area and front crown. It also feelsstrange in that area, like it's irritated. My scalp is normally pinkish all the time anyways, (I'm naturally blonde, so I think that's common) but I'm so upset to think I might have permanantly caused damage. ALL THE HAIRS HAVE A ROOT. I don't know what to do-I am very careful and gentle with my hair at all times, and I was super careful washing it yesterday because it felt so dry. I may not have washed out all the 9 trees conditioner, so I just don't know what to think or do-should I hurry up and give my hair a more thorough shampooing, leave it alone 'till my next regular shampoo-what should I do?!! In the meantime I'm contacting LML and see what they have to say-but I hope no one buys her products-she doesn't list her ingredients and is a over pushy person and does business terribly. I wish I had followed my instincts and not have bought the products-but who knew this would happen.Thank you anyone for your help,Holly

Well Holly,I have no real help to offer you, but I would certainly contact her and even a hairdresser for some advice. I am inclined to tell you to keep washing, but that could make it worse. I have used her products. Her conditioners I don't care for, but the shampoos are OK. I liked the fact that she doesn't use SLS in her shampoos, but since the ingredients are not listed I don't know if that's true. Someone here said that they asked her for a list of ingredients. Could that person please respond here?!> Please help me!> I've been using LML products for 2 weeks now: the 2> kinds of hairgasm shampoo, the protein shampoo, the> Lillith Conditioner, and the 9 trees (oil)> conditioner, plus the spray on products magic spray> and the protein spray.> Well, I stopped using them because they are so dryng> to the hair. Dear Holly,I have not used the LML products, but the problem which you describe sounds very similar to the problem that I had with Paul Penders shampoo. From reading Anita's message, it sounds like LML claims not to use the SLS in the shampoo, but you don't know because you don't know the ingredients. Paul Penders claims to use the lowest-level of an SLS product and a host of botanicals, which you can read on the label.Anyway, I used the shampoo and when my hair was wet it felt moisturized and seemed ok. After I dried my hair, I noticed something really odd. My hair would not move. I mean like blow in the air or anything. It was like I had used a ton of hairspray. I figured it would "loosen up" after a few days. After a week, it was gummy as ever. I had a harder and harder time getting a comb through it. Also, my hair was shedding, pretty much all over. The shampoo was the only thing different in my routine. After a week, I washed my hair with my Aubrey Organics shampoo three times and sat for about 1 hour with conditioner on my head. After that, my hair was fine. No more shedding and no more gummy head.I wrote to Paul Penders and I have yet to hear from them. My letter came back twice because the company has moved so frequently. That sure told me something:)Like you, I could have kicked myself. I don't think you have caused permanent damage. Just don't use the products anymore and I would be curious to hear what the company has to say. As for your bangs and crown area, the shedding should stop soon. You used the products for 2 weeks. It sounds like your hair is just reacting. If your scalp is irritated in the crown and bang area, try using a mixture of aloe and jojoba. A small amount several times a day should soothe the scalp. Otherwise, use straight aloe.Sorry for the mishap. All the Best,Jade21> I've been using LML products for 2 weeks now: the 2> kinds of hairgasm shampoo, the protein shampoo, the> Lillith Conditioner, and the 9 trees (oil)> conditioner, plus the spray on products magic spray> and the protein spray.> Well, I stopped using them because they are so dryng> to the hair. You can add a couple of tablespoons of jojoba or wheat germ oil to the conditioner, if your scalp is really dry and /or add a little shampoo if your hair is very oily. In either case if you normally wash your hair every day, try switching to every other day for the 'real' shampoo, and use the conditioner as 'shampoo' on the alternate days until things improve. If you have a hard time finding the jojoba or wheat germ oils, try either mineral oil(baby oil) or vegetable or olive oil, just make sure they are salt free, and finish with as cold of water rinse as you can stand for excellent shine and smoothness. william
