OK-here goes. I have been suffering with well water hair for over a year now and I finally (with the help of Cher) found something that works. I use Nexus Botanic oil overnight--the ingredients are Safflower oil, sesame oil, sunflower seed oil, corn oil and soybean oil so I guess you could make it yourself. On Cher's advice I have been using Nature's Gate shampoo and conditioner (the chamomile one but I want to try others)and (also on advice of Cher)rinsed my hair with bottled water. My hair feels like hair for the first time since I moved here! Thanks Cher!Shannon

This is water that is in it's purest form and should have no minerals to harm your hair. I buy it in jugs from Walmart or our local Shoppers Foodmart. Usually I pay 58cents a gallon jug. I use one whole jug as a final rinse. Good luck on your testings of NG.. Maybe give the Jojoba variety a try since your hair has gone through mineral damage. It's very moisturizing.Good luck! Cher~
