> how can you change the ph level of your hair> want to make it lower.The hairs natural ph is 4.5-5-5.Most chemical services raise that level in order to swell the cuticle (for depositng color, or chemically altering the natural wave).You hould use an acid- balanced shampoo and conditioner to restore the ph.My favorite is Joicos Kerapro and Lite conditioner.Nexus Ensure is also a great rinse which I use after every color and perm service. It can also be added to color or perm neutralizer to condition the hair.
