curly hair styles

i have frizzy dry curly hair, which is dyed blond. what hair style and lenth is best to take the frizz out of my hair?

Sarah,I have frizzy curly long blond hair and I can't do anything with it. I tryed ironing it out but that didn't work. I have tryed alot of other things and they all seem to not work. Your not alone....you'll find a cure. :-)Frizzy-face(Krissy)

Hello Sarah,I don't know how long your hair is now, but you could definately cut some layers to reduce some of the frizz.Make sure you use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to put moisture back into your hair from the color or bleach.There are also styling products that have silicone in them to reduce the frizz. Of course, I am referring to professional products. They cost more, but it really makes a difference in your hair. Hi there!Excess frizziness can be caused by overprocessing. However, being a curly head myself, I know that on top of natural frizz, chemical treatments just make the problem even worse. I would reccomend regular trims to tame those nasty ends and would advise you to use products tailor made for frizzy, curly hair. Choose a moist shampoo like Rusk Calm Shampoo or Biolage Hydrating shampoo (these have stronger cleansers to get out styling product build-up, but are also rich in good stuff, like protein). Next, choose a conditioner that wont weigh your hair down like Rusk Sensories Calm Conditioner or Biolage Detangling Rinse. In addition, DEEP conditioner twice a week with rich botanical masques like Kiehls Deep Intensive Hair Repaireteur or ARTec Moisture Pac-- the use of heat with these deep conditioners, really makes 'em work!!! Finally, and MOST importantly, find GREAT styling products. Gels are usually thicker and coat hair well which in turn keeps frizz down. Try Biolage Gelee with spritzes of Wella Restructurizer. While drying, use a diffuser attachment and DONT touch your hair at all!!! Finally, if you have stray pieces,define with a curling iron. As for cuts, try long layers, like layering the bottom three inches of your hair.
