QuoteReplyTopic: If It Does Not Work For You, Return It ! Posted: January 12 2000 at 5:31am
I, too, have spent a lot of money for products which did not work for me, which I never used again, and finally discarded, just throwing money away. Then I got smart and learned a not-too-well-known secret. Most merchants, especially the chain stores, will give you a refund on anything, without a hassle! I have returned hair dye to Sally's, make-up and lipstick to Walgreen's, hair conditioner to Target's, hair spray to Rite-Aid, etc., etc. I always try to save my receipts until I know if I want to keep the items.Don't be sheepish or shy about returning items which were not as you were led to expect them to be. I just state why I am returning them and no questions are asked. I get an immediate refund or I choose to apply the price towards another item. Many stores have this unposted, unstated and unpublicized policy about returns. So stop accumulating useless bottles of this and that, and use the shelf space for things you will use. Also save lots of money this way.
