Need Style Advice

I'm a longtime lurker looking for advice. My hair is currently shoulder length with bangs. It is very fine, but not too thin and has a very slight wave which I usually blow dry straight. I would like to get a cut that is wash and wear or at least wash and quickly blow dry, and that doesn't hang in my face. I have had short bobs before and although they make my hair look great, I'm not crazy about what they do for my face, which is a little on the round side with small features. Actually, I usually tuck my current style behind my ears as I feel this looks better on me than it hanging straight down. I would love to try a shag or a "Meg Ryan" type hair do, but am afraid this wouldn't work with my fine hair. Any advice is appreciated!
